About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live with no regrets. To look positively upon mistakes. To be kind to others and myself. To laugh at least once everyday.

ABOUT ME

I am passionate about travel and meeting new people as it tends to the curious aspect of my personality and continues to open my mind. It is also a lot of fun and I LOVE to have fun :) CSF pretty much combines all these 3 things, hence I've jumped on the CSF band waggon!

PHILOSOPHY

Stop wearing your wishbone where your backbone ought to be

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed overseas, hosted and arranged meet- ups in Brighton. I am a bit of an advocate for CSF and am always trying to get friends involved!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Poland and have hosted people several times in Brighton (see references). The times when I have been unavailable to host people, I have met people for coffee/ showed them round the town. I am an active member of Brighton's CSF community and have organised CSF events for Couchsurfers living in Brighton and those visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of romance, comedy and thrillers. I listen to all types of music and especially love going to live gigs and festivals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitch-hiked from Brighton, England to Morocco, raising over £1000 for charity.

Teach, Learn, Share

(Without sounding cliche) I have a big zest for life and have practised lots of different kinds of sport, dance, martial art, music, drama and even various types of travel- from studying abroad, to teaching and volunteering overseas, independent travel, travel with friends, hitch-hiking.. So whatever your interests, it is highly likely that I would have tried something similar at once and can share this with you! I don't really have a speciality in anything, more like I am a specialist in generalism! I have a Ukrainian heritage and I have been known to do the odd bit of kosak dancing when I am really enjoying myself! This is guaranteed to entertain you (and embarrass me!)

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Morocco, New Zealand, Poland, Spain, Tanzania, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States
