PHILOSOPHY

I am relatively simple. I try to be the best person I can be, though it is sometimes hard. I want to enjoy my life like never before, and I have come to realize that every day is beautiful and shouldn't be wasted. Live the moment, live for yourself and others as well, don't be troubled by foolish things because one thing that is guaranteed is that things will always change. Open yourself to new people, new knowledge, new experiences. Life is here for us to make the best of it, and that is what I am trying to do.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I participate in life, which for me means striving to connect with as many crazy, intelligent, eccentric and wonderful people as possible, and share what I can with them, hopefully enriching their lives in some way. I love seeing people smile and shine, love giving what I can spare, whether it is time, a couple bucks or maybe a few hugs. You know... do what I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All time favorite experience: After sweaty, crazed dancing to the a-maze-ing beats of Austin's very own Soul Track Mind, we head out to the GreenBelt for night swimming. There is nothing like floating in a serene swimming hole, completely naked, under the stars, with the faint glow of city lights in the corner of your eye. I love Austin, I love couch surfers, I sort of love everybody. :]

Getting back to basics. Living simpler. Less complications. More horse back rides, more grass between my toes, more... hell, I don't know.

Virtually every type of music. I resonate most with blues and soul, i.e. Otis Redding, Robert Johnson, Etta James. I dig any music thats got real heart in it. Chances are, if the band is having fun doing what they do, i'm having fun dancing and singing along.I love reading but its hard to list the books I enjoy because it's very hard for me to not enjoy a book....If a television show were to have crack in it, and I were to be a crackhead, The Walking Dead might be that which contains said crack. But I'm not a crackhead. That was just an example. :]

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I traveled to Australia and New Zealand about 6 years ago, and swam in the Great Barrier Reef. Thats happymaking in my book.
