Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel, but not just as a tourist. I prefer talking to local people than taking pictures of all those touristic spots, because for me, it's much more interesting to get to know people's life there and their culture when I'm in a new place . I like to talk and share stories.
I'm going to Europe this summer for the first time, and I'm just lucky to know that such things like Couch-surfing do exist! I really hope that through this site, I can make new friends with different backgrounds and get some new experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to various genres of music actually. But recently I'm becoming a fan of latino music which makes me dance automatically. I used to like pop but now I prefer progressive rock and alternative music. Listening to some old Chinese songs is always an amazing experience for me.
As for the movies, I can just say that I'm really not fond of blockbuster movies, US mainstream movies, very commercial and super high technology and action, fiction, etc. But I'm a big fan of Scarlett Johansson so I still watched Lucy and Ghost In The Shell, which were both ok though. Oh! I like French comedies very much.
I'm also a big fan of Game Of Thrones.
Honestly, I didn't read much before university, because it wasn't my interest. But then I realized that books are indispensable for becoming knowledgeable, and I kind of want to be knowledgeable, so I started to read more. I like all the novels of Khaled Hosseini. My favorite types of book are novels and essays.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like food and I cook Chinese food relatively well, so we can share our own food. I can teach people Chinese if they are interested. I can play Chinese chess and chess but I'm definitely not an expert, lol. My French is better than my English so I can help you with your French if you're not Francophone.
I'm an outdoor type, so we can go together for hiking, biking, camping, kayaking, roller skating, etc. That would be very fun.
