COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS'ed in Amsterdam at one point with a friend.
Had a roommate in Bruxelles who was heavily into the CS scene, so half of the time I would wake up with strangers in the living room which I then would have to resuscitate with the ingenious use of coffee.
Love the idea but never really got to the point of doing it as often as I would like.

The Alhambra : The only "textbook example of things you should see" that I actually think you should see.

Too many other things. I generally don't remember them. They are usually small things, like a woman dressed in bright colours sheltering from the sun under an umbrella next to the Bagmati river in Kathmandu while birds of prey are circling overhead. Oddly enough, this striking sight went unnoticed by most people.
