Hey, I’m Liv and I’m a musician from Hamburg, Germany. I play the guitar, sing and write my own songs and I love connecting with people through music. I ’m also fond of all other forms of art and love to watch new plays in the theatre or see an exhibition. Generally speaking, Im a very curious, empathetic and sensitive person. Im interested in a lot of things and love to learn new things about people and the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I‘ve only just found couchsurfing and think it‘s a great opportunity to get to know new people, their ways of life and their mindsets. I also prefer to get to know the way that people live in different places rather than only visiting the tourist attractions of a city.

Music: Honestly, at the moment, Im really into British Trip-Hop music from the 90s like for example Portishead or Massive Attack. Also, I love folk and indie music, as well as Jazz. Some other artists I like are Radiohead, Laura Marling, Melody Gardot, Florence and the Machine, Hozier and many more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I actually love bathing in cold water and Ive done this a couple of times. For example, about two years ago, I got into the lake of Konstanz in Germany in December when it was snowing. It was so refreshing and invigorating!

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak German, English and Spanish but I‘ve never been a teacher or anything like that so I don‘t know about the teaching but I can definitely share the things I know with you;)). I can definitely offer a guitar or singing lesson though!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could play you a private concert or teach you some guitar or vocals. Also, I enjoy cooking and Im happy to prepare some meals for you or help you out with some other household tasks. Out of curiosity, over the last years, Ive read quite a bit about psychology and my friends say Im a good person to talk to.
