Overview
About Me
My name is Liv, I'm 21 and I am a student studying Teaching English as a Foreign Language and Japanese.
I am from a small town on the Wirral; across the river from Liverpool.
When I am not living away for university I am at home with my family which is my mum (Angie, 45) and my brother (Billy, 16).
My brother is going into his last year of high school, he teaches himself to play the guitar and practices in his room, he also likes rock music and other similar music.
My mum enjoys gardening and is working on making the garden pretty, she goes swimming every weekday morning at 7am, which you are welcome to join in with.
If you have the interesting opportunity of meeting my Grandmother she always has a story of something silly she has done.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couch surfing as a way to meet locals when I travel around the world as I would like to explore other countries in depth rather than sticking to just the tourist areas.
I think it would be great to host people in order to open up my family to other cultures and ways of thinking.
Interests
I am always interested in learning about other cultures and phrases in other languages so it would be exciting to invite them into my home!
As a student I go out frequently so I can introduce you to night life, as Liverpool night life is very nice. My favourite is the Cava (the tequila bar).
- contemporary dancing
- drinking games

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite movies are comedies and my mum enjoys horror movies.
Our music style is completely mixed and we like almost all styles of music. We always have the radio on in the kitchen.
My favourite books are fantasy/fiction and my favourite author is Zoe Marriot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Something I have done that is amazing is go to dance classes that also supported disabled children. I became a peer educator that helped support the disabled children. From this I went onto do work within the local community like doing dance shows around the Wirral based on issues young people face (bullying, underage drinking. etc.)
