Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to experience the world from a new point of view.
ABOUT ME
This is a very difficult box to write in, but my profile seems too empty without it - so I will give it a try.
My name is Liva, and I am an 20 year old girl from Copenhagen, Denmark, who studies literature on the University of Copenhagen.
I love literature, all-night conversations, loads of wine and meeting new, interesting people. :-)
PHILOSOPHY
"To experience your life, its revolte and its freedom, as intense as possible, that is to life as much as possible (...) the only boundary, the only 'blank' is a too early death." - Albert Camus
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't been able to host yet - but I am looking forward to getting my own place, so I can start!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I don't have much experience with couchsurfing - but the experiences I have had have been absolutely amazing. I have surfed in both Berlin and Paris for day expanding to several weeks. The concept of couchsurfing opens up for a world without boundaries, and it gives people the ability to get to know each other all over the world.
I have travelled a lot in my only 20 years long life, though. I have visited more than 20 countries. :-)
Interests
Meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, travel, drinking coffee, reading, learning, writing, partying, art, architecture - and of course spending time with my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music is almost to broad to describe, but a few bands I always enjoy listening to are Pink Floyd, The Cure, Rhye, Of Monsters and Men, Agnes Obel, Radiohead - and I love Jazz.
To sum up some of my favourite books might be even more difficult, but some of the best books I have read during the past years have been by Murakami, Albert Camus, Christel Wiinblad, Simone de Beauvoir, Gustave Flaubert, Paul Auster, John Steinbeck, Franz Kafka, Kerouac, Hemingway, Tom Kristensen and Muriel Barbery.
But I always enjoy opening my literary horizon even further. I do yet have so much great literature to read.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once saw the birth of a sperm whale. That was unbelieveable.
Teach, Learn, Share
