Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I lived in Ohrid, Macedonia for 3 years as a Peace Corps volunteer where I hosted many wonderful people from all over the world. I was excited to be able to share what I knew about Macedonia. I've only surfed once but am currently traveling in Asia and hope to meet people along the way for coffee/lunch in order to learn more about life in Asia. My favorite part of traveling is meeting people and learning about other cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the last couple of years I've had 2 pretty big events in my life, in January 2007 I successfully climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and then in the fall of 2007 I quit my job of 18.5 years, sold my home and moved to Macedonia where I lived for over 3 years and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer.
