ABOUT ME

I have a startup company called Maptia with 3 close friends - building a travel storytelling platform.

I'm addicted to surfing and have been lucky enough to spend months travelling to some remote places looking to score!

PHILOSOPHY

I read once that in an address to some students, Rudyard Kipling warned them against an overconcern for money, or position, or glory, he said:

"One day you will meet a man who cares for none of these things. Then you will know how poor you are..."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm happy to give free surf lessons to anyone in the Couchsurfing community. Just drop me a message if you're nearby and interested!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in Chile and on the first night there was a Police chase which crashed outside our apartment! But every person I've met through couchsurfing has been awesome, it's an amazingly trusting community.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Surfed Nias and Desert point in Indonesia. Took part in the Mongol Rally in 2008. Travelled up the east coast of Australia in a VW camper.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I used to work as a surf instructor, if you happen to live near a coastline I'd be more than happy to take you out surfing someday! Musically I am exceptionally untalented but try to play the ukulele and would happily show a few chords or jam if you play guitar/sing in tune!
