About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet, learn, explore, and share!

ABOUT ME

I like to laugh, play and have a good time. I'm laid back and easy to talk to. I'm very passionate about my beliefs and lifestyle. I love Thai and Indian cuisine. I'm also the organizer of the Fargo chapter of the American Meditation Society, and an assistant oraganizer with FMVeg (Fargo-Moorhead Vegetarians and Vegans).

I love to support local businesses (by purchasing things that are locally made or grown and by shopping at local stores). I like reducing my carbon footprint by recycling/re-using everything I can, bringing re-usable shopping bags with me to the store, carpooling, combining errands when I need to go out, using natural non-toxic household cleaners and toiletries, shopping at thrift stores and garage sales and buying organic as much as possible. I only listen to local, independent radio.

PHILOSOPHY

Here are some of my favorite quotes that relate to how I feel and how I live my life:

If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian. ~Paul McCartney

Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet. ~Albert Einstein

Racism isn't born, folks, it's taught. I have a two-year-old son. You know what he hates? Naps! End of list. ~Dennis Leary

If you don't like something change it; if you can't change it, change the way you think about it. ~Mary Engelbreit
