ABOUT ME

I have moved all across the United States, but finally settled (for now...) in California. Often when people ask me where my home is, however, I give them a confused look as I think "Do I have to pick one place?" I am never happier than when I see new places, meet new people, and share positive experiences with others. I love good books, animals, scientific research, food, and anything different. Always willing to say yes, crack a smile (or a beer), and try to share my positive outlook.

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing in life is more important than happiness. It is something that is spread from person to person, and grows and grows. Positivity is how I grow my own happiness, reminding myself to always smile, and always making an effort to make the people around me happy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

What I value most is learning from others, and sharing a real experience with people around the world. I am not looking for a free place to come back for the night, but rather an opportunity to learn from new friends and share my knowledge in whatever way I can. I am always willing to help with meals, housework, and in whatever way I can, while being polite and respecting my host. My aim is to learn as much as I can from others through conversation, food, nightlife, and even normal daily life!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed with friends, and love to frequently host people and share my home, but have little experience doing so through the site. I look forward to my new experiences to come!

Interests

Rock climbing! (And most things outdoors and athletic). Trying new food, eating old favorites, cooking, late night conversations, learning about other people's passions and interests... and many more!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am notorious for enjoying almost all kinds of music... My favorite movies include Big Fish and anything by Wes Anderson. My favorite book is the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many to write, but seeing the sunrise over Yosemite valley for the first time is near the top of the list.

Ask me about anything regarding biology! It is my background in school and one of the things I am most passionate about. In addition to this I am always seeking to learn more things, so I always look forward to sharing!
