Overview
About Me
I'm a freshly graduated Philosophy student in Romania and I recently launched my blog:
bemylemon.com
My blog's about my passions: writing poetry, short stories, prose, anime and manga philosophical analysis and more! :)
I'm a vegetarian and a coffee drinker (I especially love perusian and Guatemala coffee) and I love taking walks in nature and on little streets from unknown cities.
I love an engaging conversation, but I also enjoy partying and honestly, if I am to cite Janis Joplin, feeling good IS enough :). Extravaganza and pretentious expectations won't get us there. Simple things and lively moments with interesting people is all we need.
I also believe there's no pre-set path for us to follow. Humans perpetually create their own paths. The trajectory's to be created!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I wanted to celebrate my faculty graduation with an Eurotrip and be able to meet and share with people around the world. When I was in France I realised how incredibly engaging it is to be surrounded by people from different cultures, to discuss differences in principles, to learn about the other side of things - things you didn't think about before, because you were stuck your private cultural bubble.
I found the courage to pierce that bubble and now I'm all about finding, exploring and exchanging ideas.
I'd be so happy if you'd want to do the same and welcome me in your home :)
Interests
I write poems, prose, short stories and I believe in the power of words. I'm a Yayoi Kusama art enthusiast and a fan of Junji Ito's horror manga.
I'd sing to you Janis Joplin's song - Me and Bobby McGee anytime! :) That song holds the most precious definition of freedom.
Along with Janis Joplin I constantly listen bands like The Doors (visited Jim Morrison's grave in Paris), The Smiths, Beatles, Led Zep, Nirvana, The Black Keys, The Do, Oasis and singers like David Bowie (Rebel Rebel's my favorite).
I take pictures of pareidolia effect stimuli (I found myself doing it without realising and now I do it all the time).
I'm not on social media, I only have Facebook for faculty business but now, since I started a blog, I'll have to expand on other mediums. Until then you can contact me on WhatsApp and check out my blog! (I'll launch it pretty soon and you can check there some of my writings). My blog's link is:

Music, Movies, and Books
As I listed above, some of my favorite bands are: The Smiths, The Doors, Oasis, Radiohead, Led Zep and I have a soft spot for Janis Joplin! I also love this French band called 'La Femme'. They're so funny.
I resonate with Emily Dickinson's poetry and I'm a fan of Ryu Murakami's novels. I especially like the novels 'In the miso soup' and 'Audition'.
My favorite movie is 'Comet' (2014) and I love the movies directed by Lars von Trier (Melancholia, Antichrist, The House That Jack Built).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen huge dragonflies in France.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share with you and I am so eager to - my words. I'll do spoken word poetry for you, recite my poems with my heart on fire.
I can also share with you my experience with philosophy for children workshops, introduce you to this new movement going around the world, where we want to create an open dialogue community for children and teens to be able to develop their critical thinking and speak their minds.
I am a Foucault lover. His writings and philosophy are of great quality. We can chat about biopwer technologies in our contemporary times.
I wrote my bachelor thesis on existential anguish so I can talk lots about that with you as well!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll be a great conversation partner in philosophical topics such as power technologies, anguish, liberty & free will, the shadow and persona archetypes (from Jungian analytical psychology) and other topics you might be interested in.
Afraid be not - I'm well aware we shouldn't take life so serious, so I'm all about partying and feeling good over a glass of wine, cocktails, beer, anything - from time to time.
I'd like to recite you poems and dance on the streets by the water even if the music is only playing in our heads.
