About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Create lasting friendships with people all around the world, sharing common interested and discovering new ones
ABOUT ME
I traveled around South America in 2013 & 2014, primarily living in Patagonia, Argentina, learning Spanish, pottery, weaving, rock climbing, aerial dance, cooking, music, and life in general! I am now a student in Portland Oregon,
Studying Spanish, business, art, and linguistics. I am a very open person and love to share my passions with others. I live a natural, balanced lifestyle, and love being high on life! I love to appreciate nature, friendships, and spending time cooking with other people.
PHILOSOPHY
The goal in my life is to have as much funny and joyful moments as possible, and to have as many deep, meaningful connections with people as we realize how similar the human experience is.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would be interested in meeting up with people in Portland during the school year, and during the summer I can host people either camping on my family's farm, or they are welcome to sleep on a futon in our living room. We share primarily vegetarian meals together, and love to share recipes and hear stories. While not traveling, we love to travel vicariously through the wonderful people who are currently leading the nomadic lifestyle we dream about. Please no smokers nor drugs of any kind.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been hosted in Buenos Aires, and Cordoba, Argentina, and have hosted a handful of people at our farm last summer.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Juno, little miss sunshine, louder than a bomb, into the wild
Music: milky chance, the Great Lake Swimmers, Coldplay, ODESZA, the head and the heart, wake owl, Eddie vedder, the cranberries, grizzly bear
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Learned traditional weaving skills from a girl who only speaks a small amount of spanish, and otherwise only speaks Quechua! It was very meaningful to learn a traditional skill from someone who has grown up in a very traditional community. It was wonderful to communicate through laughter, smiles, and hand motions to learn this new trade.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to share rock climbing, yoga, partner acrobatics, gardening, felting, sewing, cooking, and laughing!
What I Can Share with Hosts
The organic sheep farm I live on, and good suggestions for how to explore Portland and the surrounding area, in the summer months.
