ABOUT ME

I'm 23 years old, was born in China, and move to Canada after I finished grade 8. Here is some info about my travel experience.

I went to Japan alone during last Christmas to try to develop some inner peace of myself. It ended up pretty good. After that, I went back to school, in this March, I suddenly just want to leave my school for a year, to travel. So, I did. (By the way, I love my university.)

I officially start my journey from this end of April. I went to Holguin, Cuba, for one and a half month to learn some intense basic spanish. After that, I went to Colola (a small town located in the west coast of Mexico) to involve in a volunteer program, In order to protect the marine turtle, although the condition is very basic, I met a lot of great and a lot of delicate people back there. After my volunteer experience I traveled around California for half a month.

Since this September till now, I'm travelling around Europe.

兴趣

I like to take photos while I'm travelling. Also, I have a strong interest in sculpture, wooden art, random drawing, sewing. As about wooden art, I enjoy carving some small wood works during my way of travelling. I love to sew some useful stuff to make my journey easier, such as eye blind, pencil case, camera case in use for the raining days. Oh, I also love to watch movies!!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

To take one year off from my university study. Use the time to travelling around the world is one of the most amazing things I have done in this year.

On my way, I have seen a lot, such as, in the cold new years eve, people in Japan lining up in front of the temple, waiting with an unbelievable patient to get the first sincere wishes from their God. In the hot summer of Cuba, the local people were pretty diligent, they have the meat and vegetable market run every early morning, I was there to be embraced by the exotic and busy life style. Also, in the lovely June, I was volunteering in a rural place of Mexico, at there I saw the most beautiful staring night in my life. Anyways, I enjoyed my journey a lot. I hope I could have a chance to share my stories with you.

Teach: I can teach you Chinese if you want to learn, I can also teach you some basic photography skills, such as exposure, aperture, structure of the photos. Also, I can shear my experience of sewing, sculpture, travelling, Chinese and Canadian culture with you.
