ABOUT ME

ATTN SURFERS: If my last login says I was in Potwin, KA, please ignore it. I just got a new modem and my ISP is causing issues.

I was born in the small city of Billings, Montana, where I was given a hefty appetite for nature and the outdoors. Most of my time was spent doodling, wandering around in ponds catching frogs and snakes, playing too many video games, drawing, and generally having my head up in the clouds. Time flew. I packed up my cat with what would fit in the car, and headed for the coast. I left behind my religion and most of my belongings.

I try to keep up with a sustainable, cooperative lifestyle. At my home, I recycle, compost waste, grow food and herbs, ride bicycles, save water, and keep my own flock of chickens.

While some might find our communal lifestyle a little odd, we take a great deal of satisfaction in it. We hope you feel the same when you stay here. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Never try; never know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed around southeast Asia and my own country, and now I love to host couchsurfers of my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had many great encounters with couchsurfing, whether it be crashing with someone else or surfers at our own home, and not one of them has been a disappointment. Here's to many more years of meeting great new friends, free couches, and (sometimes) free food.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy movies, music, as well as books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking the jungles of Thailand, watching a sunrise at Angkor Wat, and having several encounters with wild bears I think are all pretty amazing things.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about plants; point to anything and I will tell you about it. I have been a chef, am currently a professional baker, and I like to feed people, so let's make dinner. If you play music, play with me! I love to jam.
