ABOUT ME
I am very tall. I am dorky. I was born in the USA but I don't watch a lot of television, eat fast food, or have blond hair. I don't own a car and am in the minority for that. I love to bike everywhere, even in the rain and snow. I speak English, Spanish and am learning French (on my own). I like to travel alone and only recently discovered that. I am a very thrifty girl and don't mind being called frugal. I LOVE second hand clothes and home accessories, especially when I have the creative energy to alter said purchases. I like spontaneous dance parties and puddle jumping.
PHILOSOPHY
hmm. still trying to define and refine it. Respect others, avoid needless waste (energy, time, money, etc.), expand your world vision, oye, much more to add to this section. I will think.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hope to participate MORE in this community in the future! I learned about this website just before I left home to travel for 1 year. I've had two extremely positive experiences with CSers and hope to receive surfees when I move back in the states in July.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
lots with friends AND friends of friends. Surfed the couch of a CS Frenchman living in Northern Spain and was shown around Asturias (Spain) by a CS Asturian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
woah. um, I think watching the sun rise over volcanoes in the distance from the top of another volcano (after hiking up and camping there the night before) in Guatemala was quite an amazing sight.
Teach, Learn, Share
I used to be a swimming instructor! I could help people amplify their spoken or written Spanish. I have first aid and CPR training. I know how to fix a few things on a bicycle. I know how to sew on a sewing machine and by hand.
