ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Olivia but everyone calls me Liv. I was born and raised in the UK but moved to the beautiful Gold Coast, Australia with my family in 2002. After completing my architecture degree I decided to pack up my life and focus on my greatest love for a while: TRAVEL, so I moved to Dusseldorf, Germany to be an au pair and see the world in my spare time. After 6 months of au pairing I decided it was time to for a change so I moved to Mainz and am working in Frankfurt. I love meeting different people, good food and wine, and getting lost in new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am quite new to couchsurfing and joined after a few very close friends had a great time both surfing and hosting and recommended I give it a try. I have only had one couchsurfing experience so far and it was absolutely great! I discovered that couchsurfing is not only a place to stay, but am opportunity to meet truly wonderful people and share experiences.

Given that I have just moved to a new city in Germany, I am mainly looking to meet new people in the area and hopefully meet up for a drink or a chat.

A bit of everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Caught the Trans-Siberian from Beijing to Moscow. Worked in an orphanage in rural Sri Lanka. Swam with bioluminescent plankton in Turkey. Rode wild horses on the Mongolian Steppe.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I absolutely love to cook (especially baking!) and will happily bake for anyone who likes cake!
