To become the teacher I wish I had in elementary school.

ABOUT ME

I'm a relatively recent transplant to the Bay Area and loving it! I tutor privately and am pursuing my elementary education certification.

I like fun and adventure, but still enjoy staying in with good friends and good movies. Sometimes I sing, sometimes I dance, but what I'm best at is loving life and making friends.

I've hosted and surfed with A LOT of people. The last few years I've not been able to participate but now I'm back and eager to meet some new travelers!

Leigh (US) - Thanks for "forcing" me to go with you to see Lady Liberty and the Empire State!
Luke (US) - I've never seen anyone so excited by brunch.
Roseline (France) - She had the most luggage I've seen for such a small girl.
Josef (Switzerland) - What a sweetheart, I pretty much inhaled the delicious croissants he brought us.
Anne-Sophie and Maude (Quebec) - Sorry you didn't get to hear real gospel singing :(
Chad (US) - Possibly the most surreal surfing experience I've ever had.
Sean (US) - I've tried to duplicate your curry, but it can't be done!
Marcus (Germany) - So blonde, so tall, so fun.
Jonathon (France) - Squeezed into my itty bitty summer housing with no complaints.
Keeley & Cav (Australia) - Schooled them at Asshole.
Josh & Marco (US & Germany) - I will never forget Marco's brave attempts to intimidate a bouncer for me. And Josh, I will never forget how our apartment smelled after you made that onion soup.

Naoise (Spain) - Poor guy had to sleep on a flimsy setup of couch cushions every night.
Vincent (South Korea) - Totally went along with my suite's crazy, I was v. impressed.

Paul (Denver) - I loved his chaotic house.
Michiel (Boise) - Let the Right One In. So good.
Luca (Seattle) - He really taught me to appreciate Phil Collins.
Brad (Bismark) - I don't care what you say Brad, I think ND is gorgeous.
Renee (Minneapolis) - She left us homemade apple bread. Delicious!
Corey (Toronto) - Took me to my first baseball game. Tried to drop me over a railing, normal stuff.

Shook Jimmy Carter's hand on a plane from Atlanta to New York, jolted in a van over the Tibetan Himalayas, danced around Columbia on Obama night, drove cross country with only one friend and managed not to kill each other, watched penguins strut across a beach, met friends purely by chance halfway around the world!
