Overview
About Me
Hosting in Shanghai for the last 2 weeks till early Feb before moving to Sydney!
Indonesia born and raised multilingual who moved to China for university (Beijing for undergrad, and Shanghai for grad school), did crazy "Erasmus" in Spain, as well as a summer semester in LA. I am a graduate student majoring in Electronic Science and Technology (I know I don't look like one) and I'm also a seasoned street dancer. I have performed in various kind of events as a hobby, mostly non commercial. I dance to express not to impress.
You can say I am minor in psychology as well. I love to learn and talk about human relationships and social behavior. As the AI is getting smarter and smarter, I believe learning how to understand humans is actually much more useful than working on numbers and calculations (or memorizing stuffs).
My aim is to travel all around the world to see and learn different cultures
Traveled 36 countries around the globe so far (..and 5 US states)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Actually I'm new here, trying to get some new experiences from coachsurfing. Never done it personally but I've heard tons of awesome (and some uh-ok) stories from my friends who tried CS. So basically, I wanna indulge myself into that experience. As people said, experiencing is believing.
edit: I've surfed and hosted several times by now and it was great indeed! :D
Interests
I love dancing, cooking, and playing guitar. I also enjoy drinking and bartending (I make exceptional b52 and long islands!). As an adrenaline junkie, I'm a huge fan of traveling, mainly to see new culture and experiencing something new. Fun fact: My adventurousness sometimes put my life in danger

Music, Movies, and Books
I like Action Comedy movies, something like Rush Hour sequels and Johny English, which fits with my comedic and humorous traits.
As for music I've got broad taste: varying from Classical, Jazz, escalating to House and Electronic. I do enjoy RnB n Hiphop for dance as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumped and lived in a country whose languge was pretty much unknown to me. That was actually how I started my bachelor study in China, and Chinese is actually realllllyyy different from my native languages (Indonesian and English). But then I managed to master it in 1 year and now I'm fluent in Chinese (after years living there).
Travelled alone to Morocco.. Yes, alone, without any guide nor people I knew
50 days Euro-trip! 20 Countries in 1 shot!
Teach, Learn, Share
Food, Culture, and bunch of epic stories!
