About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Taking time for myself, explore horizons and find out where I truelly belong
ABOUT ME
I am a Biology student, specialized in Microbiology and an aspiring Public Health officeer. After finishing my highschool back in Addis, I moved to Toulouse, France to pursue my studies. It's a beautiful city, also known as "La ville Rose" , meaning "the pink city"-seriously it's true, every corner of this place is magical, just makes you smile :)
My Toulouse experience has helped me discover who I am; like being able to interact with different kinds of pple from diverse places of all ages; I'm very curious about nature's work; Inner peace is vital in my life and all the love one can give.
Basically easy going, open mindedness and patience are some of the vocabularies you'd find in my book. Not to spoil the story of my life, I'll let you discover by yourself ;)
PHILOSOPHY
Each day is a gift, an opportunity to live our lives to the fullest, a chance to do right.
As a certain Confucious said: "Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can host, have received guests in my home country and in the US. Also willing to surf, spent a night at a CSers home in New Jersey for the first time this year! Quite an experience :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met and hosted one the most interesting pple coming from different parts of the world. Hopefully, I'll be able to see them again somewhere somehow ! and continue couchsurfing ;)
Interests
Normally I'd tell you that I'm keen on painting aquarells, read thriller and historical books, play tennis and enjoy a fine home made injera ( traditional food in ethiopia). In the past few years, I've come to develop new hobbies: going to afrojazz and soul music concerts, baking cakes and cookies, hiking up in the Pyrénées mountains, have some tea along with delicious french pasteries, enjoy cultural, philosophical debates...and more!
