ABOUT ME

I think life is really interesting and since I was a kid Im trying to figure out why I am here and who I really am.

I like to do things my way and I dont really mind what others think of that.

I enjoy other people's company, have a laugh, meeting new friends and discover how they are and what they think. I tend to see the good in someone and I trust people.

I like helping others, and my friends can always count on me.

I'm not a party person so if you are looking for clubbing or getting wasted, probably we won't have much in common.

I have had chronic migraine for the last 3 years which means that my head is hurting almost every day. This really turned my life upside down but I have also learned a lot through it - compassion for those experiencing hardship; inner strength; appreciating things that people often take for granted. Anyway, I hope it will be over soon!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everything happens for a reason, good or bad, and that there are no coincidences. This might sound like a cliche but I think the world needs more kindness, care, love and consciousness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im going to local meetings, and I host people occasionally. I've met wonderful people though Couchsurfing.

Interests

Dancing (salsa, other latin dances and kizomba), playing the piano, spirituality, meditation, healthy living, interesting people, long conversations, going for a walk, hiking, being with my pets, sometimes painting and drawing, board games, good wine, eating out, going out for drinks, cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I dont have a favourite - it can be weird or average, it can make me laugh, make me cry, or thrill me - I dont mind :) The only kind I dont like is horror...

Music: if its danceable, I like it - especially if its latin :) For listening, i like a bit of everything: pop, some rock, jazz, blues, world music, arabic, balkan, brazilian, piano, or acoustic guitar.

Books: my new favourites are Eckhart Tolle and Osho! I also like Paulo Coelho, Anthony de Mello, Esther & Jerry Hicks etc. For fun I would choose the Hungarian writer Rejtő Jenő :) And of course some slightly geeky classics like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones etc. :)
