(Feb 2017) I sold everything I owned in my life and resigned from a 16 year career in education to travel the world and see as much as I can for at least a year.

I have been traveling the world my whole life, but the past 16 years I have made it a big priority.

(November 2018 Update) I am still traveling around the world and meeting great people.

I don’t drink or smoke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have couchsurfed a few times and it was so much fun. It has been great to meet people and get to know locals. I am starting a new adventure and hope to use it more.

I also was hosting, but now I have sold my house and no longer have a place to host. In the future, when I return from my year around the world, I will get back into it.

Interests

In my free time, I like to travel the world. I hike, bike, kayak, spend time with friends. I love to be in nature and just take it all in and relax. Drinking coffee around the world makes me happy.

Sold all of my possessions from 38 years of life. I am living out of a small carry-on suitcase.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching. I taught English as a Second Language for adults and first grade in the US for 16 years. I also enjoy teaching about life, getting out of debt, minimalism, and traveling on a budget.
