ABOUT ME

I'm a down to earth, friendly person who loves meeting new people and experiencing new things. I graduated from university last summer and have spent the last year getting to know my city and spending as much time as possible with the friends and family I love. I'm off travelling in January and would love to get a more in depth experience of the countries I visit through couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is that open-mindedness enhances life. Talk to anyone and everyone you can. Try to say yes to new adventures and experiences. I've never found anyone who expresses this better than Lawrence K Fish: "Exhaust yourself in the glorious pursuit of life."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can sometimes offer a place to stay and am looking to couch surf whilst travelling next year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a couple of times, and my first time was awesome and for me is what CS is about! The guy joined me on my morning run, we grabbed food in my lunch break and he joined me and my friends in the evening for a night out. Looking forward to meeting more cool people.

兴趣

I love cycling around cities as I believe it is the best way to get a real feel of a place. I have recently started a travel writing course so I can get the most of my travels and hope to pursue this as a career in the future. During the day I work at an advertising agency, yet I also work for a website called Twenty Something London, and in the evenings have the fun task of reviewing cool indepedent businesses in London (I get very well fed!). I feel really excited about life at the moment and just want to make the most of being young, free and enthusiastic!

Viewing the Macchu Picchu site from the top of Huayna Picchu, standing amongst the clouds.

Driving with the top down along the Malecón in Havana, Cuba, as the waves crashed.

Swimming naked in a freezing cold Burn in the Highlands of Scotland, only to jump out in full view of one of the four trains travelling through the the tiny hamlet of Achanalt that day (I think the passengers were the more awestruck party here actually...)
