I'm almost two years out of college and working in my chosen industry as a prop artisan/carpenter (look around your room, anything you see besides the structure (walls, windows, doors) is what I'd make for a show). My career is very, very important to me and I'm letting it take me where it will at the moment.

I hail from the Seattle area in the great Pacific Northwest, but currently I live in a small town in Southwest Virginia while I pursue my passions. As a dual American-Canadian citizen I plan on living and working in Canada (hopefully Vancouver or Toronto) sometime in the future.

While I am not super outdoorsy usually, on roadtrips I'm all about stopping and taking a hike here and there to stretch my legs and discover something gorgeous I've never seen before. Previously I've stopped at Arches in Moab, Utah, the Badlands in South Dakota, Niagara Falls (the Canadian side, of course), the northern section of Yellowstone (one day I'll see Old Faithful!), and have already explored much of the Cascades and the Olympics in Washington State (my dad is a super hiker that goes every weekend).

I am a little shy at first but am very relaxed and easy-going.

Since I work in the entertainment industry my contracts tend to be from a few months to a year and I often have different summer work from the rest of the year so that means a lot of moving across the country chasing jobs in my little car.
I always prefer to drive over fly and discover new and interesting things about the country. I've been to a little over thirty states so far and I've driven coast to coast a half a dozen times.

When I'm in a new town I'm all about finding fun activities from beach-going to bar-hoping, from laser tag to museum-going. What makes your city different? I want to find out.

I love rock, folk, indie, alternative, and pop music. Currently I have the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack on repeat. Basically I enjoy most music (but I have limits on the amount of country, rap, dubstep, or musicals I can handle).

I'm a huge nerd who's started really getting into comic books (Marvel and the Sandman series mostly). I like anything that tells a good story but am especially a fan of Neil Gaiman.

One of my favorite hobbies is finding new amazing TV shows to watch. I adore anything in the Whedonverse and am a huge fan of Bryan Fuller's work.

Movies wise I love anything a little bit quirky/interesting/intriguing, anything in the MCU, and the odd Die Hard movie (it's a Christmas watching tradition in my house).

I've been working in carpentry/props since I was 14 years old and started scenic painting at 11. I can weld, faux paint textures, build furniture (or really anything out of wood), and construct halloween decorations from chicken wire and burlap. I can probably help you fix that piece of furniture that's broken and help you even out the stain on that chair. I make anything and everything out of some very surprising materials.

My motto in life is that you can never stop learning, so if you have a skill I don't know I'd love to learn about it!
