ABOUT ME

I love many writers, old and new, especially the American expatriates of Hemingway's era. I like to think I am one - a writer, not an expat (not yet) - more often than not.

I believe that the world is an imperfect and beautiful place.

I want to live truthfully: I think that's a very hard thing to do.

I love to laugh.

PHILOSOPHY

This life is a great and terrible and short and endless thing. None of us come out of it alive. So let's have adventures; stay out until we see sunrise, sleep late, drink whiskey, fall in love, sing uproariously...let's not be bitter and let's have no regrets.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm an American student studying in London from January to April, and in between all that I'd love to explore Europe and meet interesting people, and get into as much mischief as can be squeezed into such a short amount of time!

That being said, unfortunately my London living quarters won't allow me to return the couchsurfing favor. BUT, if anyone is out and about in North Carolina while I'm there, I'll be more than happy to house and feed you!

I like knitting but I'm not terribly good at it.
