In my third year at university in the US. I love being outside and think that traveling by canoe is the superior method of travel. I lead trips for other students and am a student and teacher of experiential education philosophies. I've never been out of the US and am about to embark on my very first solo adventure. Looking for friends, guidance, and occasionally a place to sleep. Traveling on a shoestring budget through indonesia, australia and new zealand from now until July. Studying occasionally, always learning new things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling alone and am wary of staying too often in hostels. Couchsurf is a way to reach out and build a community away from home. I'm looking for places to sleep that feel like a home, and can offer some insight into new and different cultures.
