About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet travelers! I am trying to learn German, so if you are a fluent German speaker, I'd like to meet up, have a beer, and chat (auf Deutsch) :)

I wish I could host but I live in an apartment with a very tiny couch and no guest bed. </3

ABOUT ME

Currently I am in school for International Political Economy, and have a job working for an online continuing education company.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in living life to the fullest, cherishing friendship, and learning as much as possible about the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Disney movies, Bollywood movies, really cheesy disaster films, Star Trek, a bunch of others I can't think of at the moment.

Music: The Dear Hunter, the Hirsch Effekt, Native Construct, Dream Theatre, prog metal in general, Imagine Dragons, Muse, Flobots, Trampled by Turtles, Yonder Mountain String Band, Nickel Creek, Caravan Palace, the Killers, and a random assortment of other bands and genres. I'm very flexible with music.

Books: 1984, Tao Te Ching, and Jane Eyre, Harry Potter, Ender's Game, The Little Prince, Neuromancer, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, a bunch of others. Sci-fi/Cyberpunk, political non-fiction, history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a bus from Western Massachusetts to New York City, and while the bus was driving over a bridge, I got to see the NY skyline rise up out of the horizon. I'd never been to New York before, and that indescribably epic view was my first impression of it. It's a moment I'll always remember.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make simple jewelry, how to use Photoshop, or how to make a delicious grilled cheese sandwich. I'd like to learn anything you want to teach me in return.
