ABOUT ME

Easy-going, laid-back, calm and relaxed. Adventurous and spontaneous. I enjoy unpredictability.

I teach Yoga and Meditation, and I enjoy playing classical piano as a hobby. I like to go out and see shows, and I like to drink with friends and have parties. I quite enjoy nature, reading, and being peaceful...but there are always (at least) two sides to each person!

I try to live my life moment by moment!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed multiple places across the USA and Canada, and I have hosted many different types of people from Canada, Spain, France... and I welcome many more!

Interests

PEOPLE! All the different types and stories grab my attention...my human curiosity is overwhelming sometimes. I spend my time with my various hobbies (reading, yoga, piano), and also socializing at the local pubs with my friends. Sometimes I just veg out and watch quality TV programming :-).

Music, Movies, and Books

Literary works by Murakami top my list, although I love many many other books.

As for music, I can listen to anything as long as it's genuine and creative.

My favorite movies are by Wong Kar Wai, but I've also loved Natural Born Killers, Lost in Translation, Purple Rain, To Wong Foo, and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After a concert with Snatam Kaur at Kripalu Centre in Massachusetts, I walked outside and the sight of the stars above this massive tree literally took my breath away. I realized the grandiosity of the cosmos and the significance of each life on this planet, despite the multitude of existences.

Also, I was at a mini-Burning man festival (called Naturopolis) outside of Ottawa and had a psychedelic experience when the organizers let me use the flame-thrower to burn the mini-Burning man!! far out.
