Hello - I'm Liz! myself & my boyfriend will be travelling through South America (Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru) from February 2015 then heading to Mexico in June before ending our trip driving from LA to San Francisco where we'll be hanging out for a few weeks!

My love for exploring the world began when I left for Australia aged 21 on an 'eight month trip' ...and returned home two and a half years later. In that time I spent two wonderful and bizarre years meeting people I love with all my heart, living in hostels for months on end, working 9-5 and 6-8am on the weekends, dancing on rooftops, swimming in natural rock pools every weekend possible, spring breaking down the coast, sailing, bbqing, cooking feasts, throwing parties in loaned apartments, feeling inspired, feeling free, working in the middle of nowhere with no internet or phone for 3 months, drinking by the dock, making friends with fishermen, drinking bloody marys in rivers, seeing some amazing music (beirut, smashing pumpkins, sbtrkt, toro y moi, karen o's psychoopera...), taking a trip out to explore the north of new Zealand and laze around in Fiji. I also met my best friend and soul mate and a few special others who i talk to almost every day.

I then had the chance to spend half a year exploring South East Asia, reuniting with friends in Thailand, getting close with nature, watching beach sunsets every day, hiking up waterfalls, taking a million night buses everywhere, eating the best food, doing yoga on a hillside.. then Laos & monks & underground caves & kayaking, Cambodia & meditation retreats, temples, glowing plankton, island treks, abandoned beaches, motorbike tours & volcanic crater lakes, onto Vietnam & hiking & a whirlwind motorbike trip along the coast (just two of us & a 'map'), beautiful rice fields in the north (& rice wine!), the craziness of hanoi & some interesting & brilliant experiences, to two weeks in Sanya, China with my kiwi homeboy - I cannot stress how much fun Christmas and New Years was there, it was another world with beach parties and bonfires, matching Hawaiian shorts and shirts, food i didn't even understand & so much dancing, then to Burma, markets, street food, biking around temples, sunrises, 3 day hike, sleeping in a monastery, absorbing the people and the culture, coconuts every day at the beach..my heart still aches when i think of this country, then Kuala Lumpur before hitchhiking for the first time ever to Singapore for an amazing Chinese New Year then back to Malaysia before finally (regrettable) flying home.

I've been living in Brighton, UK (by the seaside!) for the past two years which has been fun and involved lots of little trips away to places like Berlin, Barcelena & Budapest (not sure why but all Bs!) I've been working as an Editorial Assistant and running an Interior Awards programme which has been ace and have also been practicing yoga for the last 6 months, attending about 3 classes a week which is something I have a real passion for. However it's definitely time for a new adventure, and the next plane outta here for a while!
