About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To enjoy life and surprise others as well as myself.

ABOUT ME

I am a culinary artist. In case you don't know what it means, "I am one hell of a good cook!" Also, I am credited with a unique sense of humor. I am known to come up with real good one liners. Life has taught me that! I listen to what others have to say and then form my own opinions. Also, in the right circumstances, I speak my mind. I am an observer of people, body language and nuances are sure tells. I enjoy the outdoors, architecture of older and some new buildings, walking down country lanes, along lakes and streams, etc. All in all, I am a well rounded and unique person. On cold winter evenings, I love curling up with a good book or good company with a nice cozy fire burning. This is probably more than anyone really knows about me. They would be surprised.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life to the fullest.
I am a Mom, Grandmom, Sister, Aunt etc. to a large and very busy family. It is now my turn to enjoy life. It sounds selfish on my part, but I don't believe in sitting around and watching tv when there is a big world out there. I want to be able to show other couch surfers some of my part of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy company and entertaining. I am a incredible tour guide, you just don't know. I know places that even the locals don't know about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have just finished a 30 day trip with Steve Braithwaite and the Big Banana Car. We traveled to Washhington D.C. and from there to Pensacola, Fla to Houston, TX. to Michigan, Canada(Niagara Falls)Buffalo, N.Y. and back home. We surfed with hosts in Virginia, Alabama, Florida. 2 in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Indiana, and New York. It was my first time at couch surfing and competing with a Banana Car is not easy.

Interests

Traveling. It is something I have wanted to do forever. Being a friend to Mankind.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most all music. Mystery and adventure books. Some autobiographies. I love to read. I watch a lot of travel movies along with science fiction and good drama.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have seen was the aftermath of the volcano in Washington State - Mt. St. Helens about twenty years later. To see the growth of new trees and wildlife and to stand across from it in the middle of winter and feel the warm air blowing. Also to see the steam rising from the differnt areas of the mountain.

Teach, Learn, Share

Six miles away are the Pyramids of Bucks County. They set on private property but can be seen from the road. Farther down the road is the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. It is the sister Shrine to the one in Poland. In Doylestown(half an hour away) is the Henry Chapman Mercer Museum, Tile Works, and His home - Fonthill. I have been there many times and every time I go I see something new. In the Other direction is the town of Bethlehem. All around here there are many intersting things to see and do. Hopefully, I will be able to show you some of them.
