free spirited, radical. something like that.
pretty darn easy to get along with if you ask me.
i love love love good food. music, movies, gardening, tasty alcoholic beverages (beers and cocktails mostly)
i like to hike. i love to read. (a lot of science fiction and comics lately, but i enjoy non-fiction too)
i tend to be either quiet and reserved or loud and high energy.

PHILOSOPHY

i think my mission in life is to explore the concepts of health and healing. it has always been what intrigues me most, and what i have always wanted to study. any major impact on the world that i can make i think will be through the healing arts, in all the myriad ways that can manifest.

i forget movie titles a lot, but here are a few: 4 minutes(beautiful german film), eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, tetro, waking life, before sunrise/sunset, go fish, high art, otto, or up with dead people, let the right one in etc.
music, i like most genres of music. punk,pop,techno, goth, old school country,postpunk, postrock, folk, indie, metal, hip hop.
some favorites: VNV nation, tori amos, espers, townes van zandt, silvio rodriguez, blackbird raum, elliott smith, nick cave, ani difranco, mirah, hurray for the riff raff, rudimentary peni, bikini kill, huggy bear, nick drake, wumpscut, leather strip, swans, my bloody valentine, magnolia electric company, cocteau twins, the velvet underground, magnetic fields, xiu xiu, des ark, etc.
books: the posionwood bible, the grapes of wrath, anything by michelle tea, alice walker, neil gaimans sandman comics. books on philosophy, history, gender theory, fantasy and science fiction etc.

i have studied herbal medicine and permaculture. im a pretty good cook. i can play a little guitar, and i can be quite adventurous. i will clean the hell out of your kitchen!
