About Me
ABOUT ME
I enjoy food, nutrition, and fermentation (eg sauerkraut and kombucha); hiking, swimming, and spending time in nature; playing frisbee; learning languages; and traveling as much as possible!
Since 2012 I've lived in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where I'm studying Public Health Nutrition in graduate school. I grew up in a small town in Ohio, then moved to Oregon for university. I studied Environmental Economics at Reed College. After that, I spent 10 months teaching English in Malaysia on a U.S. Fulbright grant. I also traveled around SE Asia as much as possible! Following that, I went to Australia for 2 weeks and then to New Zealand for 3 months to work on organic farms.
