Overview
About Me
I'm from Australia but I've been living in Germany for four years.
I like to be outside and close to nature if possible. This does not happen as often as I would like at the moment because I am busy studying a Master of Science. I hope that in the future that I can make some small contribution towards finding a solution to some of the global environmental problems we are facing.
I like traveling and getting to new places and cultures. I've had the privilege of living in several different countries and experiencing different cultures and languages from the inside.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am new to couch surfing. Friends recommended this as a good way to meet people when I'm in a new place. I am hoping that it's a nice way to get to know the city through insider knowledge, meet some locals and get to know the culture more. This is something which is not so easy to do when you stay in a backpackers or a B&B. On the other side, maybe I can help people out who are passing through to get to know my city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've got this far in life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am not really sure what to say here. My main motto in life is to ride your bike everywhere if possible...it's usually faster and easier than taking the car, you can appreciate your surroundings more and it's good for the environment. It's definitely a nice way to explore a new city :-)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a simple apartment so I can only offer a fold-out couch to sleep on. Maybe a glass of wine or a beer, cooking together.....
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Cambodia, Cuba, England, France, Greece, Italy, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Spain, Turkey, Viet Nam
