About Me

CURRENT MISSION Bring goods vibes to anyone around me. Volunteering in other countries. Currently, I am not hosting any member for a while due to COVID-19. Perhaps in the near future.
PHILOSOPHY
What travel brings you is a reward from mother earth. I think we are what our experiences bring us to the table, therefore we have to accept whatever it comes our way and make the best out of it. I believe that you cannot truly understand people if you don’t learn about where they grew up, their roots and environment. I am not judgmental; if our visions are different, I can always compromise. Compromising will bring more rewards than imposing our own believes. In the long run it is a state of mind.
ABOUT ME
I was born in Guatemala. Lived in Mexico when young, and moved to the United States in my twenties. I am an Architect and an educator. I have two wonderful girls where I have the pleasure of traveling with, they are lots of fun, so sweet, and great buddies to share experiences with. We enjoy all of what cultures, societies and places have to offer. Each person is unique and we have to respect them the way they are. Throughout my architecture education I learned how to enjoy how people live and how they use their environment. As an educator I learned how people interact with each other, how to respect, and be kind to one another.
I am extremely energetic, too adventurist at times. I have met amazing and loving friends for life. I will go above and beyond for them, and actually for anyone who is willing to trust me. Despite the tribulations of life, I think I always manage to learn something about it to become a better person, and reach high standards.
I always try to reward myself and my love ones relaxing, chilling, and visiting new places when the time is right, and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My oldest daughter introduced me to couchsurfing, when she was studying in Italy and touring other countries. I finally had the opportunity to really understand the places I travel thought the eyes of the people who live where I go. There is nothing more rewarding to give back the best of me when I have been given so much, CS family have been amazing to know, to learn from, to share with, and to stay in contact with.

Interests

I love to learn new views from the amazing people I meet when I travel. I have always feel safe and guarded, and just that alone make me feel at home. Everyone who has hosted me and my family have been above and beyond. The least I can do to my guest is to treat them as royalty.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, and it will all depend on the mood I have. From classical music, Latin music, indigenous sounds to heavy metal, but the Beatles will be my number one! Love all kinds of movies and music. Any reading topic gets my attention.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Loving the outdoor has giving me the chance to go and do so many adventured travels like, trekking the Andes and the Alps, climbing volcanoes, walk on the desert, seeing the Northern lights, Kayaking in rough oceans and jungle. Explore ancient sites. scuba diving , swimming under caves, riding the highest zip lining in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach just about a little of everything, from sports, how to survive in the outdoors, saw, cook, do art, play music. I don’t think I am an expert of anything, but I love to learn from others. I don’t want my past to die ever, since I meet one of the most amassing people I lived with and taught me the most, my grandmas and dad, they are my legacy and I shall carry their knowledge to others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

You will feel very welcome, at ease, and safe with my family. I am willing to hear your story and share mine if you let me. Traveling has help me understand that we cannot survive alone. We need to share our experiences and learn from one another.
