About Me

A bit weird and just the right amount of crazy. I like a drink and I love a dance. I want to go on adventures and meet people. Bloody love the UK (especially Manchester!!!), but want to explore and experience some more of the the world before I get too responsible.

Lived in Prague for a few years and am currently living and working in France.

I'm laid back and don't take myself too seriously. Basically, all I want is a good laugh and an adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting people (especially locals who can show me a bit of the culture), and it's a cheap way to travel.

Interests

I'm a pretty standard person to be honest. It's probably obvious, but I love travelling. Things you will always find in my rucksack? My kindle, my earphones, my diary and a jar of Marmite (LOVE IT).
I love music festivals and ideally would live at one. I find it hard to sit in one place for long. I could quite easily spend a day, or maybe two, sat on the beach or in the park, but after that I want to GO GO GO!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I could talk for hours about books and am not really a fan of the question 'what is your favourite?' as it changes on a weekly/monthly basis. I'm enjoying Herman Hesse at the moment and have just devoured 'This is Going to Hurt' which is the diaries of a junior doctor in the UK - definitely one of the best books I've read in a while. I have a few on the go at the moment but am particularly enjoying Stephan Fry's adaptations of the Greek Myths and 'If on a winter's night a traveler' by Italo Calvino.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Mt Toubkal in Morocco (it's proper high).
Walked the Camino de Santiago (it's proper long).
