Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only actually couchsurfed a few times myself across Europe and the Middle East, but have always had a great experience. However, I have met a handful of people through CS in Cairo and Amman, both through events and hosting many people through roommates in Jordan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting caught in Cairo during the Egyptian Revolution of January 2011 left me with many memories I will never forget, and made me especially thankful for the Egyptian friends I had made.

I spent last year teaching English in a university in central Turkey and had an amazing time learning from all of my students and living in a new culture.
