I love the wilderness. I am an outdoorsie girl that enjoys visiting cities, but who's heart will always be in the mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

My mother volunteers at a second hand book store and is always bringing me home something new. She is a huge fan of travel fiction, with strong female leads...I can relate. I also love to throw in the occasional historical non-fiction to change things up.

Music I am open to anything, I prefer it live over anything. Right now my heart is content on bluegrass with Elephant Revival and Trampled by Turtles. I can never say no to salsa.
Someone once told me that the reason humans are so effected by music is because our bodies are mostly composed of water and the bass from the music vibrates the water. We choice the music which vibration we enjoy the most. I kinda like this thought.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the aurora borealis. My friends and I were at a bar celebrating a birthday, and around 1:00 in the morning we were outside getting fresh air, looked up in the sky...and there they were. Pretty spectacular. I love when simple daily normalities transform into amazing experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone has a story, and furthermore everyone has something to teach. I enjoy reconnecting people with nature. I love bring people on hikes, taking my friends out climbing or camping.
