Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Rachel - I believe life is about continually gaining a better understanding of the world around us. This can be done in many ways, but for me, I learn best by experience. Therefore... I travel, I interact with others, I party, I try to learn new languages, I invite people who are traveling into our home, I watch how everyone else does things and try to understand why.
My world view is constantly changing and shifting, but my goal is that everything I do will make it more complex and at the same time perhaps more accurate or at least more aware.
I guess that's more of "why I participate", but that's cool too...
Liz - I first started CouchSurfing when I met Rachel in 2010 and we hosted several people together. Since then, we have done a fair amount of traveling and have met a fabulous array of people through the CouchSurfing network. After more than a year of living rather nomadically, we are excited to be settling down again and to finally have a couch to offer up to travelers. We are eager to get started repaying a small fraction of the kindness and hospitality that others showed to us when we were on the road.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
working on it...so far all couchsurfing experiences have been amazing and its made traveling and life at home far better!
