ABOUT ME

Beau is a tall, scruffy, and mild mannered fellow with a predilection for cats, bob dylan, beer, greyhound buses (begrudgingly) and sending mail.

Liz is a foot, (roughly a 1/3 of a meter) shorter than Beau. She frequently writes notes on her hand. Currently, she is attempting to master and converse solely in French but abruptly switches to English when startled. She enjoys contemporary art & architecture, sangria, short stories and poetry, finding and picking comestible plants

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only one so far. I stayed in Chicago with a great guy who showed me a terrific time in the city. With his guidance, I spent my birthday on the 15th floor of some sophisticate's penthouse apartment where toga grunts, salsa dancers, and the bourgeoisie all congregated to drink prodigious amounts of booze and raise money for an African student studying in the U.S. The place was unbelievably crowded and the cops eventually flushed everyone out at 2 am.

A month long Greyhound bus trip across the states. Seen Versailles, and the original "Le Couple" by Picasso. Driven across the U.S. Wwoofed it up in Québec, pulled fresh garlic out of the ground and ate it, saw a naked girl douse herself in flour and cover herself in snails, ate végé poutine,had a wild, disoriented bird find its bearings and take flight straight from my hand, danced on some rooftops, yoga in a forest
