About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make my own way around a foreign city with naught but a bag and a pocket full of change.
ABOUT ME
I'm currently making a world tour of all my relatives. I began with two months Melbourne, then spent a month in Canada, visited my 99 year old cousin and her family in the U.S.A, and now I'm just hanging out in Montreal for a few weeks. Yes, I am having an amazing time. My family are mental, but wonderful.
I enjoy talking, a lot, especially if I can learn something from the conversation. Music is a passion of mine. I can do basically anything [cleaning, boring jobs] as long as there is a tune for me to listen to. I also play the guitar, piano and sing, though performing is not really my thing. Running around in dresses and no shoes in the sun is my favourite thing ever.
PHILOSOPHY
Word of the year 'perspective'. If something seems crap, think about everyone else, and how much crap-er your life could be. Then shut up.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have stayed with cs people in Berlin, all of whom were incredibly lovely people. I'm unable to host, but still love meeting other couchsurfers.
I spent some time with couchsufers in Bergamo, Italy.
Interests
Music, seriously. Interesting people. My mother's a journalist, so I've picked up the habit of asking many questions, just for the sake of knowing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music, there is too much. I grew up to bands like Supertramp, Van Morrison, the soundtracks of Cats [my father did the lighting for it so I've seen it a few times] and Les Miserables, Queen and Crowded House. More recent bands I listen to are Andrew Bird, Grizzly Bear, Ani Difranco, Port O'Brien, The National, Cat Power, Animal Collective, Bon Iver, The Dresden Dolls, Amanda Palmer, Badly Drawn Boy, Arcade Fire, Beirut, St. Germain, Tom Waits, Vampire Weekend, Spoon, The Shins... and many others. This is but a small taste.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Meeting my 99 year old relative's new husband. Amazing.
Been blessed by a complete stranger on the train home in Italy one day. I'm not religious at all, but it was the most wonderful moment.
