ABOUT ME

I am a free-spirit. A wanderer. I love adventure, travel and surprises. I'm a Sagittarius, and I am true to the sign. I have interests that fall all over the map, and I'll have new ones by tomorrow. I'm a writer, a photographer, an artist, a philosopher. I love music, history and learning. I'm a nerd. I'm a rock star. I'm a mad bartender. I want to speak seven languages, ride a bull, and pen the great American novel, a deep dark play, and an Oscar winning screenplay. I'm passionate and daring, and I get bored easily. I'm self-entertained, but I love to be around people. Some days I'm a smalltown girl living in the city, and other days I'm the city girl was just born into the country. I say "Please" and "Thank You," but I have random spurts of serious road rage. I have swum in the Amazon, milked a cow, and appeared on a game show. I own a 160-pound Saint Bernard named Murray and a cat with a saggy belly named Bebe. By day, I've been things like a nanny, an assistant, an Eclipse Flash Strip, a Zombie, but by night, I am always a writer.

Jon has a similar adventurous spirit! He has been so many places and done so many amazing things! He has lived in Spain and Indonesia. He worked on a fishing boat in Alaska. He lives to travel and surf. He is a sweet, sweet man and goes to great lengths to help other people. He grew up in the DC area, but moved to LA to pursue music and a career with the Los Angeles Fire Department. He has an intense passion for life, and is a serious practical joker!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed both through CS and through chance while in Europe, and we've hosted several times in LA.

My interests include film, photography, writing, surfing, traveling, tennis, hiking, cooking, kickball, bartending, classic rock and classic country and all kinds of music, bull-riding, being a rock star in spirit (I can't sing :) ), dogs, cats, Siberian hamsters and other exotic hamsters, astrology, adventure, live music and living on the wild side.

Jon loves music of all kinds...plays the piano...plays the guitar, sings. Enjoys classical and jazz music. He rock-climbs. He surfs. He travels. He travels. He does that a lot, so I wrote it twice. He LOVES ice cream.
