ABOUT ME

I love to travel and after a RTW trip decided to see what living abroad is like. Figuring out the ex pat/international community thing. Before jumping into this, I lived in California for 20 years both North and South. Love California, but realized I was ready for a change so here I am in the wilds of Armenia. Actually Yerevan is quite civilized.... I hope to meet fellow travelers and provide hospitality to those on the road....

Mainly as a host, but have met some cool people on my own travels....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did not couch surf on my trip - was lucky to have friends in places where I wanted to couchsurf. Have been a host since I've come to Armenia.

hiking, cycling, horseback riding (totally hobby I think I am picking up in Armenia), photography, food, wine, good coffee, good movies, beautiful nature and of course travel.

I like foreign flicks - way to travel sitting on your couch. My tastes range from Das Boot to Tombstone - like most BBC stuff - period pieces. Good action is good (love Clint Eastwood). I guess I'm open. Will read anything so long as its well-written. favs, good fiction, biography and mysteries. Music - all kinds.
