Overview
About Me
I'm very easy going person, interested in meeting new people and learning about different cultures.
I think the more you learn from other people, the more tolerant you become.
That's the clue for having a better world :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mainly because in this period of my life I'm in the search of new experiences and knowledge, not just academic-centered but the one that comes from visiting new places and getting to know people, their stories, their narratives.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite band is Queen. I love listening to them no matter how I'm feeling. I love dancing, so if you come to visit me, we could go partying to a nice dance club in Bogota.
My favorite writers are Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Fyodor Dostoievsky, Once Hundred Years of Solitude and Crime and Punishment, respectively.
I enjoy watching any kind of movies, but I would say my favorite genre is thrillers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I would say two things. The first is having visited the Antelope Canyon in the US and arranged a whole road trip with some very close friends just to get to that amazing spot.
The second was going to the Amazon. I would say it was one of the happiest moments in my life. The best sensation was to feel really complete being surrounded just by what nature has to offer and not by materialistic things. And, I am a really survivor of the Amazon River! I have such an anecdote to tell!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have some tips on how to survive in a big city like Bogota, hehe.
I have always been very eager to knowing new things. So, whatever you guys have to share with me, I'll feel very pleased.
I love talking and laughing; I'm a very talkative person. I work at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, a place you have to visit if coming to Bogota. There, I have plenty of friends and interesting people you could meet, too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A humble, I would say, comfortable place to stay.
An opportunity to be friends, if interested.
A place very close to Universidad Nacional de Colombia, downtown Bogota, being these two places you cannot miss while in Bogota.
