About Me

I'm an open-minded, relaxed person. I'm super interested in getting to know other cultures and meet new people. When I travel I like to experience the local culture, the cuisine, the city, or just the landscape. I like knowing how locals experience their own culture, I don't like been just a regular tourist, I'd like a closer view. One of my aims in life is to travel as much as possible, get to know people, different views; so as to comprehend a little bit better this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like getting to know different sorts of people and the places around. Couchsurfing seems like a great option for this, and to make possible experiences, sharing and meeting friends through this media.

Interests

I'm interested in the local life of where I'm traveling, learning the history of the place and costumes and how persons relate to it, I like to get a close approach to the life in the place. What is there to see, to learn, to dance, speak or eat! I don't need much, I'm very outgoing and like practical things when I travel.

I also appreciate arts and like to know the local art forms, performance, architectonic, pictorial, or any other; which for me also includes cuisine and literature. I was an anthropology student, now I'm studying and working as a restorer of cultural heritage. If you share some of these passions I'd love to have some talk.

Walking, biking, trekking, and camping are things I enjoy doing as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living abroad, it changed my view greatly. One amazing thing I did was climbing the Toubkal (that's the tallest mountain in northern Africa, it was an incredible experience). Other great experience has been backpacking, through the EU and Mexico.

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope courchsurfing to give me a better experience through local people and people from abroad, to give us the chance to share about common interest.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share some talks, a meal, coffee, or a beer! I'm just happy to hear from other people and maybe share a bit of my culture and experiences from Mexico and my time now in Germany. Also, I can offer to help you with Spanish, English, or German if you would like to, and I'd love to learn some Italian, Greek, or French! :)

+ Plus: I can offer to accommodate you if you come to Mainz, a small and lovely city in the beautiful Rhine region.
