ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Liz, a senior (fourth year) at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts majoring in Advertising/Graphic design and minoring in Psychology. I've been playing soccer for 17 years and have also dabbled with track and basketball. I love going outside to enjoy the fresh air and hot sun, but I also know when it's time for a nice day in with Netflix and some comfort food (for me, that's grilled cheese or pizza). Right now I'm studying abroad in Auckland, New Zealand and studying at AUT while also interning as a creative assistant at Latch Digital, a mobile and web design company based in the Auckland CBD. I'm pretty easy-going and laid back and love to have a good time and make jokes!

Interests

As I said before, I love playing soccer. I also love eating (it's probably in my top 3 favorite activities). I really like kayaking and hiking, and going to sleep after a great day of doing those activities is probably the best feeling ever.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really into the TV shows True Detective, Sons of Anarchy, and Game of Thrones (I've also just started reading the GoT books hehe). Music wise, I love mostly everything but my favorite as of lately have been The Lonely Biscuits, Justin Timberlake, and Kanye West.

I love the new Star Trek movies that have come out (Into Darkness is probably one of my favorite movies of all time). I'm a huge Marvel fan and I'm beyond excited to see the new Avengers movie coming out in 2015. I've recently seen some really good kiwi films like What We Do In The Shadows and Housebound. I've been getting into indie films lately too, like Drinking Buddies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently went paragliding in Queenstown, New Zealand and that was hands down one of the best things I've done in awhile. I had an adrenaline high for a week after it. Amazing guide + beautiful sights + the freeing feeling of gliding through the air = the best experience ever.

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I play soccer I would be more than happy to kick a ball around with you or teach you some basic soccer skills! I also know a lot about the Adobe Suite apps and can help with any graphic design work you have or teach you some things. Or if you just like relaxing and talking
