About Me

CURRENT MISSION

basking in love and high altitudes

ABOUT ME

I am naturally positive - creative, unusual, and have always tended to forge my own path. Life is more enjoyable when you are willing to dream and reach for goals that are worth attaining, even if they are intimidating. I don't want to look back at my life and realize that I didn't make the most of the time that I had. I don't want to feel that I was too indecisive or too hesitant to try something amazing or take a chance. I try to live to the fullest. Life is the biggest work of art of all, to be fully oneself and to bring something beautiful into the world each day.

PHILOSOPHY

Much of life is about navigating mixed feelings and unknown destinations... and to me that is exciting. Everything is an opportunity to learn and grow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have traveled a lot (23 countries now I think) and I love to provide the space for others that I have appreciated so many times myself in the past. I love to meet new people and have unexpected fun, mind-expanding experiences. Planned overthought careful premeditatedness is overrated.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have stayed in many hostels, had couch surfers, porch surfers, slept in hallways, lived in a van, you name it - I love sleeping and living unusually.

Interests

Boats with paint chipping off, unusual foods, being barefoot, and cats. Good lighting. Things that are positive, lively, challenging, provocative, uniquely colored, beautiful, or spicy. The smell of wool. Eco-thinking, mindful living, community-building, green building, working with others toward a meaningful goal for the greater good.
