About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I don't just want to see the world, I want to see the people who live in it- to experience their lives and the places they live from their own eyes, and to share my life experiences too. To open my mind to new things, taking those memories home with me!
ABOUT ME
My name is Liz. Depending on where you're from, that can sound more like Leez or Leeza, or Aleeza, but whatever works for you. I love meeting new people, seeing new things, and having adventures in general. I am kind-spirited, open-minded, reliable, and dependable, and love to learn through my experiences around the world. I have been to many places, my favorite of which is Tel Aviv, but I look forward to seeing many more this summer. I come from a loving family, 2 great parents and 2 fun brothers, and wonderful have friends scattered around the US and the world- can't wait to make some more through CS!
PHILOSOPHY
Though we travel the world over to find the beautiful, we must carry it with us or we find it not- Ralph Waldo Emerson
I agree- find the beautiful while you travel, but take it with you when you return!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spending 10 days in Israel. Making friends of a lifetime in a matter of days. Seeing a country with such soul and energy. Having countless people open their homes without knowing much at all about me.
Teach, Learn, Share
English, cultural Judaism, some Spanish and Hebrew. Stories of love and loss.
