Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was recommended couch-surfing from friends that have used the site before. When traveling, I think the best experiences have been while spending time with locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Anything live, generally find bluegrass, musica with a latin flare, EDM (sometimes), top 20s, and the occasional pop country. Right now, I've had Manu Chao on repeat. Only exception to musical likes: death metal--gross, but do what you gotta do.
Movies: Ernest and Celestine is the top film recently, but anything without subtitles I game to watch (I'm a multi-tasker while watching movies, so I need to be able to not look at the screen to understand the dialogue)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The biggest adrenaline rush I've experienced was on a down-hill bike ride in NorCal. After what seemed like a never-ending cycle uphill (more like 45 minutes), I clocked 38 mph on the downhill on the other side. Afterwards, I felt like I could take a table and throw it across a football field (probably would have been disappointed if I tried, but the feeling was there...)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and entertain. It's what I do for a living. So, I'd love to cook a meal or two for you. I'd also love to be a running/biking/yoga partner-in-crime
