Born in UK and spent all my life growing up, living and working in Africa.

I've always been in the communications and marketing sector, had my own ad agency in Zimbabwe. Left there in 2003 when everything started to fall apart with the Mugabe government and it was no longer viable to make a living.

Been in the communications, advertising and fundraising sector for years, started a travel agency in 2016 after ‘retiring’, specializing in China and African destinations, love to travel. When I’m not, I live on the water in an estuarine Marina within a nature reserve, minutes from a beach and close to Muizenberg village, an amazing community of people.

I love to share my space, place and stories with travellers. Having spent some years backpacking I know how good it is to feel welcomed into someone's home and to learn about a place from a locals perspective. I love to meet people and share the secrets of my adopted city, Cape Town, the most beautiful city in the world.
