ABOUT ME

I'm really silly, a wild card, known to say outlandish things when I'm made to feel comfortable enough! Sometimes I can come off as shy (only for like, the first 5 minutes lol), usually because I'm trying to take in the many dimensions of a new situation. I'm sensitive to current issues in the world, and love people who have undertaken a cause that they are devoutly passionate about.

More than I've ever been in my life, I am open to new ways of living and thinking. This trip, for me, is all about learning from people.

PHILOSOPHY

I've been called crazy for some of my ideas and personal philosophies, which oddly enough reassures me that I'm on the right track in life. Conformity, judgement, and facades don't interest me - uniqueness, sincerity and openness inspire me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the experience, but I hopefully will be a seasoned vet by the time my backpacking journey is through. I'm a gracious guest, because I've hosted before and know it's no easy task. The ideal situation would be for us to become friends -- and if you're ever in the US, you have a place to stay - close to the beach and NYC!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a friend I met in London a few weeks ago - it was an interesting week and I hope to get more experience under my belt! Also, there is a possibility of me teaching English in China for a year -- so if anyone were interested, I'd love to host people at my apartment over there!

Interests

Seems like lately the only thing i've been interested in is traveling!

I LOVE learning about new cultures, languages, and ways of life. I can think of no better evening then one spent around the table with a bottle of wine, talking about the intricacies of personal experiences and global connections.

I'm a natural explorer and adventurer. I appreciate people who are crazy in their own right, and will push me out of my comfort zone. I'm a big believer in allowing people to live the way they want to live, so long as it does no harm to another.

VEGETARIANS. VEGANS. If you are one, I love you already. Your compassion makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :)
